4.3.21. Engine assembly order

Before starting assembly of the engine, make sure available all necessary details, materials and tools to which number the following belongs:

   a) Standard set of the metalwork tool;
   b) A dynamometer key with the drive on 1/2-dyuymv;
   c) The tool for putting on of piston rings;
   d) The tool for a staving of piston rings;
   e) Short pieces of a fuel hose for putting on on hairpins of covers of conrod bearings;
   f) Measuring Plastigage set;
   g) Set of probes of lezviyny type;
   h) A file with small tooth;
   i) Fresh motive oil;
   j) Assembly motive or lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulphate;
   k) Pro-masonry sealant;
   l) Sealant for fixing of threaded connections.

For saving of time and minimization of volume of the arising problems you make assembly of the engine in the following order:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

a) Conrod and piston assemblies (B18C1, B18C5, D16Y5, D16Y7 and D16Y8 engines);
b) Bent shaft and radical bearings;
c) A back epiploon of a bent shaft with the holder;
d) Conrod and piston assemblies (B18B1 engine);
e) Maslootrazhatel of the case pallet;
f) The oil pump with a maslozabornik;
g) Case pallet;
h) Head of cylinders;
i) Camshaft(s) and assembly of yokes;
j) Water pump;
k) A gas-distributing belt with GRM drive cogwheels;
l) Inlet pipeline and final collector;
m) Sections of a forward cover;
n) Cover of a head of cylinders;
o) Flywheel / driving disk.
